Thorny Situation Multi-Cache

Hidden at Blackwater Conservatory, a BREC park that closes at dark.
The first stage is near the parking lot. The final stage is in the woods of the Blackwater Conservatory, near the Comite River.
I suggest setting aside a Saturday morning for this cache if you plan to attempt it. I also encourage groupwork with your friends and other area geocachers. I invite anyone and everyone to post notes here or use other methods to organize a group effort with local cachers.
The second (and final) stage of the cache is located deep in the Blackwater Conservatory and is where you'll find a beautiful greenish ammo box. It was hidden in winter, yet the thorns were still plentiful. In the summer, the thorns will be atrocious, poison ivy and oak could be present, and snakes are likely. You will likely mutter my name in vain and say nasty things about my heritage during your trip. I also recommend caching in a group for this stage too as there are a few areas where you may need a hand depending on the route you take.
Even though the cache is findable for a sole cacher, it would still be great for pairs or groups to tackle this one together. The park is beautiful and, if you bring a blanket and a basket, you can enjoy a calm picnic on a sandbar along the Comite River.
