GO-ANNA
A cache for those who like a gentle
bushwalk.
Located in Manorina National Park at Mt Nebo,
GO-ANNA is about a 6kms return walk along a well made and
gently sloping trail. NO steep climbs or
descents.
The trail meanders through pockets of rainforest and
along a ridge to Mt Nebo where beautiful views of the Samford
Valley and out to Moreton Bay await you.
Early morning and evening are the best times here as
the wildlife is at its most active. Birdlife abounds in the
shady surrounds of the rainforest and goannas are also in
plentiful supply.
A flat rocky area at the lookout provides a top spot
for a rest and a bite to eat after searching for the
cache.
Start at Manorina, ( S27 22.915 E152 46.645 ) on the
Mt Nebo Rd. Follow the signs to the Morelia trail which will
take you to the cache location. 2 hours should be more than
ample to find this cache.
