Somewhere Down the Line Mystery Cache

This cache hunt is for folks with an interest in using practical methods to determine geographic position.
There is no requirement to physically visit the listed coordinates; that spot is a light post located in an older strip shopping center. For any compulsive skirt lifters out there, nothing hidden at the post but if it is inspected carefully, evidence that it is the correct location will be found. Once solved, this is a three stage multicache. The first stage is located at the "latitude point" and the second stage is located at the "longitude point". Each stage contains one half of the coords for the final. Once at the light pole (your virtual presence is sufficient at the lamp pole), proceed down a line in the direction of 13 degrees, 36 minutes stopping at the “latitude point”. The latitude of the cache is hidden at this location. After the latitude is found, continue on down the line to the “longitude point” where you will find the longitude value for the cache. This line, of course, follows a great circle but we will only be traveling a few miles down this line. To locate the latitude point and the longitude point on the line, distance information is required. So, the latitude point and the longitude point are selected so that they are on the line and exactly 2.000 miles from a third position - N 33 57.640, W 084 29.054. The latitude point, longitude point, and the cache location are all within five miles of the starting point (the lamp pole). The cache is located in a relatively open area but is off-trail and in the warmer months, care should be taken to avoid poison plants, thorns, biting insects, and snakes. The cache is aggressively hidden. Please return it to its original position and insure that it is completely out of view because several caches have been lost in this area. Have fun and good luck!
