I used to work in this area. Not that many years ago this spot was nothing more than a boggy area filled with old car bodies, piles of broken bricks and misc other junk.
It was nothing more than a breeding ground for mossies.

I was amazed when I revisited the area today. It's has been totally transformed. It's now a native revegetation area. This work has been untaken by the developers of the nearby site.
