Esta cache vai
levá-lo ao coração da área de paisagem protegida da Arriba Fóssil
da Costa da Caparica. A cerca de 80m de altitude a paisagem é
magnífica e ao contrário de outros locais onde se pode usufruir
desta mesma vista, aqui o isolamento é quase total. No Inverno a
rebentação de toda a costa marítima é o único som dominante, mesmo
a um Km de distância.

O objectivo desta
cache é proporcionar-lhe um pequeno passeio a pé até ao
local. Não lhe vamos fornecer grandes indicações. Um dos vários
acessos possíveis à cache, é deixar o seu meio de transporte no
pequeno parque situado na Quinta do Texugo em N 38º 37.4364 W
9º 12.2338 e prosseguir a pé ou de bicicleta (este é um excelente
local para passar umas horas com a sua BTT). O objectivo da cache é
sentir a natureza...
NOTAS
Adicionais:
- A cache está
numa nova localização, mais longe do parque acima referido.
Prepare-se para um passeio maior pela mata ou então descubra um
local com um acesso mais próximo da mesma;
- O terreno é
privado e foi recentemente vedado pelo proprietário com o objectivo
de evitar a sua destruição por veículos TT e o despejo de entulho
(estamos em Portugal!). É permitido o acesso pedestre ou de
bicicleta. Por favor respeite a vedação. Utilize a zona da cancela,
aceda pelo lado poente (desafio cardiovascular!) ou descubra um
ponto de acesso. Não salte a vedação!
- Respeite a mata!
Leve um saco e ajude a retirar todo o lixo que encontrar. (em breve
a cache será abastecida com sacos de lixo para o efeito)

O objectivo desta
cache é apreciar a natureza. O maior desafio é levá-lo ao local e
proporcionar-lhe um momento de tranquilidade. A fim de evitar o
desbravamento do local e devido ao tipo de cache são dadas
instruções precisas para a localizar. A cache é dificilmente
localizável por não ter qualquer ponto de referência. Não está
debaixo de nenhuma árvore sequer.
Siga as
indicações:
1 - Posicione-se
nas coordenadas indicadas, junto aos 3 pinheiros representados na
foto acima;
2 - A cache está a
7-8 passos de si, na direcção 65º (leve uma bússola para o
ajudar);
3 - Não retire a
cache do local. Experimente outra abordagem...
3 - No final
apague a sua presença e deixe o terreno como o encontrou. Respeite
a vegetação.
ATENÇÃO
Devido à constituição da arriba fóssil
(grande percentagem de areia) os desmoronamentos são frequentes.
Não se aproxime demasiado da orla. Desfrute do local em segurança.

This chace will
take you to the protected area of Costa da Caparica's cliff. At 80m
high you'll get a resplendent
landscape and oposite to other areas with the same view,
here you'll benefit from great peace. In the winter the shore will
be the dominat sound coming from the ocean one Km away.

The main purpose
of this cache is a small walk up to the spot. You won't get much
more directions. One of the possible accesses is to leave your
vehicule in the small car park at N 38º 37.4364 W 9º 12.2338
and proceed by foot or bycicle (this is a fantastic place to spend
some time with your BTT). Nature feeling is the purpose of this
cache...

Notes:
- The cache is a
new location, further from the refered park above. Be prepared to a
longer walk or find a place with access closer to the
cache;
- This is private
land and has been recently fenced by the owner in order to prevent
destruction by TT vehicles and illegal trash dump. Walking and
bicycles are accepted. Please respect the fence. Use the gate area,
access from west (cardiovascular challenge!) or find a better acces
point. Don't jump over the fence!
- Respect the
forest! Bring a plastic bag and help collecting the trash you can
find (there will be trash bags in the cache soon)
The
cache
The purpose of
this cache is to enjoy nature. The biggest challenge is to bring
you there and offer you a peaceful moment. In order to avoid the
flora destruction and due to the cache type, precise instructions
will help you find it. The cache is dificult to spot since there is
no reference point nearby. It's not under a tree.
Follow the
steps:
1 - Place yourself
in the given coordinates, near the 3 pine trees represented
above;
2 - The cache is
7-8 steps from you facing 65º (take a compass with you);
3 - Don't take the
cache from its place. Try a different approach...
4 - In the end
take a few moments to erase your presence. Leave everything as it
was. Respect the flora.
BEWARE
The cliff is constantly collapsing due to its
composition (mostly sand), so don't come too close to the
border. Always keep a safe distance. Don't let your kids play in
the area. Keep them under constant
observation. |
