Bayside at Middleton Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

inspicio: As there has been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it has been a number of months since the last owner note I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Located just off the walk trail/bicycle path that runs between Middleton Beach & Emu Point in Albany.

The path is great to walk with views over beautiful Middleton Bay. We decided to place a cache in this spot as we have a holiday house nearby (coincidently called the same name as this cache!) and thought we'd share this secret place with others.

We'd recommend parking at either end of the path (Emu Point or Middleton Beach and walk the approx 1.5 - 2kms to the cache to really appreciate the beach. If you are short on time, you can park at S35.00.401 E117.55.606 and it is a short walk in from there.

The cache should be about an arms length reach off the viewing platform, so there generally is no need to "go bush" on this one, unless muggles have moved it or the bush has been trampled down around the platform.

The cache is a clear plastic lunch box filled with the usual cache goodies. We have also included the Dark Invader TB as an inaugural goodie in the cache (He can watch the horses train on the beach in the mornings) Please rehide well as I am sure this platform is popular and places out of view on the walk up were limited.
