While the Cache is listed as a micro and it is a 35 mm film container the container is disguised and larger than that. This cache container is my 7yr old's idea. When we placed the cache it was rainy/cloudy so I hope the co-ords were ok if not let me know and we will make an adjustment-accuracy said within 20' but it shouldnt be too hard. Lots of parking available. Bring your own writing instrument.
"Experience" was the name of the first child born to settlers of Sturbridge, While I don't know if Experience is here ( she was born in the 1600's and this burial ground became active about the mid 1700's- certainly Cachers will use their experience to guide them to find the disguised hide that has been placed here. While here take a walk through the history of this old burial ground where you can see grave sites of some of Sturbridge's founding residents, and Revolutionary War veterans. This is a good location for stone rubbings as many of these stones have period images suitable for such an activity. The cache is not located within the cemetary but just outside it, and there is no need to disturb any of the stone walls as it is not in a wall. The cache is not suitably sized for trading but has been hidden to bring you to a place where you may not typically go & will bring you a nice diversion from the hustle and bustle. There is a nice little bakery a short walk in the back of the publick house and there is a little playground for kids to the rear of the cemetary.
**There is an archived letterbox nearby, this cache was placed here with the letterbox owners OK as they thought it lost-it was found by another cacher within several feet of the cache please do not remove it.
