This is an easy uphill hike, .38 miles from the parking. The
Cache Rats (ages 5 and 3.5) handled it flawlessly. If you haven't
already tried for them, this would be a great launching point for
going after
UMTScache and
"CRACKINUP" CACHE. At least, I plan on using it as such during
some future maintenance run.
The cache is at eye level, off the right side of the trail as
you hike up. It's hidden, but not covered, and there's no need to
move anything to retrieve it.
Parking is right on Bay Rd., with room for 4 vehicles, 5 if
everyone gets creative. Do not block the gate.
Starting contents include the Amherst TB, which started it's
journey in Amherst last Spring, and the WJTB "Holmes".
Get out and cache!! It's a beautiful weekend!!
