Geocache Description:

This is a splendid little walk on large crunchy rocks. You can easily tailor the length of your hike from very short to several miles. Expect wonderful scenery and maybe a bit of nostalgia.

Wear stout soled shoes for lengthy hikes here - you will be on large, crushed rocks for the duration. Expect a surprisingly pastoral view from the cache area! Want to see more? Continue North on the Ghost Railway line. Along the way, look west for the Ghost Farm, prominent from the trail; it is VERY photogenic! You will emerge into Viola if you continue the walk North. Cow tipping and walking on freshly planted fields are felonies here!!! You can turn back at (or come in from) the old Creamery (once, and may still be called "The Old Creamery Steakhouse"). It was open at one time, but there are currently no plans to reopen anytime soon. If you continue down the trail, you will end up in Elgin. At which point the path is paved and used as a bike trail into Plainview. This path is a shady cool walk in Summer, beautiful in changes during Spring and Fall, and Ghostly cold in Winter...
