Brisbane Oddities - High Calibre
Please note the above coordinates are not the coordinates of
the cache.
This is one of seven caches that I placed in and
around Brisbane.
The original series has been reduced to four oddities.
One escaped, another washed out into Moreton Bay and there is no
sign of yet another one.
Each of the remaining locations has been selected because it
stands out and you can't help but look twice.
In order to find the cache you will first have to find the
particular Oddity shown in the picture clue below. Once there you
will need to find its GPS coordinate and add or subtract the offset
values at the top of the picture to get the GPS coordinates of the
cache. Some clues to the whereabouts of the Oddity are given below,
some detective work may be required ( an internet search may
help).

High Calibre - This oddity has been at this spot for a
long time. It looked like it's days were numbered a few years ago
when redevelopment of the site occurred, but it reappeared even
higher than it had been. It should be familiar to anyone who has
driven South along Logan Road. It has spawned a craze in the area
with many other odd things towering over and adorning facades of
local shops.
This cache is in the vicinity of busy roads, so please
keep the geokids and geohounds in the geomobile or on a short
leash. Plenty of car parking of course!
