Easy stop for dropping and grabbing Travel Bugs. Near 50, 589 and the Suncoast Trail. Short easy walk from parking and bike path. This is a traditional ammo box set up just for Travel Bugs. PLEASE only take one travel bug for each one you leave, so there is always at least one checked in.
Located very close to a trail head parking area for the shared use Suncoast Trail, a 42-mile paved path that runs from northern Hernando County to Tampa. Use the parking area, do not attempt to access from the highway! There are new restrooms, air for those bikes, and a covered picnic area in case you are caught in a downpour. The trail gets lots of use by those on foot and bike. Open during daylight hours.
The original contents include 4 travel bugs - 3 of which are mine out for their first time. Be sure to re-hide as found and beware of mugglers.
