Geocache Description:

Clear Tupperware container hidden somewhere between Col. Ledyard Cemetery and Col Ledyard Elementary School.

There are a couple of ways to approach this cache. The actual trail can be found in the far corner of Washington Park, behind the poilice station. It comes out behind the Col. Ledyard Elementary School, so this option should be saved for a late afternoon or a weekend. The most discreet approach would be to cut through the Col. Ledyard Cemetery. Go straight through the gate, past the mausoleum and take the road on the left. Head straight to the back of the cemetery. You will enter the woods that separate the cemetery from the schoolyard. The cache is hidden about halfway between the schoolyard fence and the cemetery border. Wear waterproof shoes if its been snowing or rainy, as this area gets pretty muddy. Also, watch out for thorny vines and large rocks hidden under the leaves. The cache is a small, clear Tupperware container suitable for trading small items or travel. Original contents include: Worry beads, a toy fish (it'll grow if you leave it in a bowl of water for 72 hours) a puzzle game a log book and a travel bug (sorry- there wasnt much in the truck when I rehid this cache). The hints pretty much give it away, so only peek if you have to!
