Geocache Description:

There was a really nice open slope just off the Chaparral Trail, covered with chaparral, oaks, a small rocky outcropping, a hidden bench, with a maze of paths running between. The hillside is being restored as of May 2021, so the maze of paths is mostly gone. As of July 2021, cache has been relocated closer to the Chaparral Trail (the former hillside maze is uphill from the new cache location). There are still great views to San Bruno Mountain, Mount Diablo, and the South Bay.

There is a lot of poison oak in the area, but none at the cache site when we placed it. It spreads and grows quickly, so be warned.

The cache is a small ammo box. The ammo can is visible, but blends in pretty well.

The cache site is NOT marked by anything out-of-the-ordinary, no geopile or unique bush.
Please rehide cache in same location.
