You might call this area the Davis Outback, where this cache resides, overlooking one of the city of Davis’s drainage canals!
The cache is located adjacent to one of Davis’s more remote bike paths and overlooks a canal that caries away some of the town’s storm waters. Note that there is a dirt path down the center! … This is a favorite trail used by runners and dog walkers. There is also another trail on the far levee. These trails start at Road 101a and work their way west for several miles. There is vehicle access to near the cache area, if you can find your way through the maze of residential streets. Tired of micros? This is a round pill bottle type container about 2+ inches in diameter and 3 to 4 inches high and camouflaged to blend in with its surroundings! It is capable of holding small items.
