Geocache Description:

Easy PNG.

If the bass are running or the water level is up; some stealth may be required. Van Meter cache is basically a quick P&G. Many of the locals in this area pass this short-cut at least twice a day. 4” x 6” Tupperware container with log book, pen, FTF prize and small trade items. gper & Iceman released Heartfelt TB 02/08/06 in honor of the two strays we have been feeding in the area for months. I am probably going to share more than you want to know about this cache. Opening Day for Disneyland in Anaheim, California was Sunday, July 17, 1955. My parents made the trip from Texas to take us there in 1957 or 1958. It has added so much imagination to my life. There were small animated toad caves in the park at that time. Van Meter Geocache hide brings back these memories from my youth. Think like a toad hiding when you try this one. It is Not on the river bank. Use the coordinates and your imagination! While in the area, try to visit GCQJP Neighor Memories 4.2 miles away (as a crow flies) and GCQ75Y Briar USA 1.6 miles away. Make sure to keep having too much fun with this great sport! gper

CONGRATULATIONS PT_Tex and family for making sure you were the FTF 02/12/06. Many thanks for sharing this TREASURED history with us. gper & Iceman
