Firefighters - Our Heroes

The Everett Fire Department (EFD) proudly serves the City of Everett from seven fire stations and a central administrative office. The EFD staffs six fire engines, two ladders trucks, three ALS (Advanced Life Support) Paramedic units and one BLS (Basic Life Support) unit "24/7." The department provides a full range of emergency response capabilities including fire responses, emergency medical response, hazardous materials response and rescue response. The Everett Fire Department responds to over 17,000 emergency incidents annually.

The Everett Fire Department offers tours of their fire stations on a pre-scheduled basis. Tours are provided upon request and are given by on-duty crews. A station tour typically takes about 25 minutes with firefighters demonstrating fire gear, touring the fire station and fire apparatus and giving fire safety information. Tour group can be no larger than 25.
