Geocache Description:

Out for a morning hike in Almaden Quicksilver Park. While I had no intention at the start of my trek to leave anything behind, on a whim I left this cache. Some might consider this a micro depending on which side of the fence you sit. I had been packing this treasure around for about 6 months and thought it was time to unload. There is a bit up and down hiking but not too difficult. As always bring water.

This is a perfect time to hike this area, the little streams have water running in them, a few wild flowers have begun to sprout and the maiden hair ferns are putting on a pretty show. In the shaded areas is some of the greenest moss you'll ever see. Be advised there is poison oak and ticks in the area, stick to the trails and you should be fine. There is a picnic table about halfway to the cache, bring a snack. If you have never cached this park, there are many caches. The container is one of those AOL disc containers that used to come in the mail, hidden and camo'd. Short distance off the trail, be gentle and tread lightly. All things in the container are geocaching related, so stick to the theme if possible, bring small stuff. There is a FTF carved token that my friend Ben of 'Mystery Ink' is eager to get, hence the name. For all you cachers who have cleaned out this park, here is another reason to visit this beautiful place.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BEN of Mystery Ink, sounds like he had quite an adventure and got his prize to boot.
