Geocache Description:

I thought I'd check out the southern part of Brushy Peak Regional Preserve to see if there were any decent spots to hide a cache, and -- good news! I found a couple. There are also a few caches in the northern part of the park. Please respect the park curfew between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, and note that although dogs are permitted, they must remain leashed.

This nice trail in Brushy Peak Regional Preserve makes a roughly 2 mile loop. This half of the park is much more open than the northern part, with nice rolling hills and some fine views of Livermore. If you've got lunch or a snack with you, have a seat and enjoy a great view of Frick Lake down below (if there's any water in it). Please be careful about snakes while hunting for the cache!

The cache container is small and contains only a log sheet. Bring your own pen. Good luck!
