This is one in a series of nine caches located in some of the higher parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges. The series is designed for those cachers who like a bit of a view with their caching!
The caches in this series vary in difficulty & terrain from simple almost drive-by to encrypted directions and several kilometres hike. Eight of the caches also contain a clue, which you will need to find the ninth location.
Remember to take a pen and paper with you or a digital camera so you can record the clues. DON’T remove the clues from the cache please.
The caches can be visited in any order however the clues need to be in their specific order if you wish to have any chance of interpreting them (once decrypted!)
Unfortunately I was unable to access the location originally planned for this cache so its substitute location isn't really a peak, however you can still get some nice views along the way!
From the listed coordinated travel 1.273 km on a bearing of 82.2 degrees magnetic. This will bring you to a survey marker with 2 numbers on it. Use the first number as abcd & the second as efgh.
Now using the original coordinates some simple math will give you the location of the cache.
GZ Latitude = listed Latitude + 0.(b-a)(a/c)((c+d)/c)
GZ Long. = listed Long. + 0.(h)(g)(e+c)
Note numbers in brackets represent a single digit of the required coordinates
ie. if abcd was 1963 then (b-a)=8
or ((d+c)/d)=3
