Downstream from Porter Pond in Sterlong, CT.
Although Sterling is one of the fastest growing towns in eastern Connecticut, you'd never know it by looking around here. This cache is in the same general area as the former "Sterling Stash", which I hunted on several trips.
Cache is a camo'd 2 qt. Rubbermaid container and should be fairly snow friendly, say up until depth reaches 8 inches or so. Contains log and several trade items the kids might enjoy
