Geocache Description:

A local lake known for its Yellow Perch infestation is the focus of Salmon Arm's Annual Fishing Derby.

This place is very popular among locals and visitors alike. A nice park with parking lot, toilets, sheltered picnic tables, playground and a nice sandy beach invite for casual family outings. The lake has 2 islands and is favoured by canoeists for its calm waters and it lures many into ice fishing during the winter. Situated at the northern end of the Deep Creek Valley, the lake can easily be reached via Hwy.97B.
