This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Smurrfs are always in touch with their environment. Papa Smurrf has found a cozy spot to help clean up the bay. Where there is one smurrf, will there soon be many?

Santa Monica has long been a city that cherishes it's close ties with the ocean. With a strong belief in the sustainable future and being the change it wishes to see in the world, the City of Santa Monica has made a home for Papa Smurrf to ply his magic. The coordinates will take to a small environmental project nestled next to a better known landmark. The Cache is a small cylinder with room for small trade items, and a small FTF prize.

5/23/07 now a smaller container, with log only, attached with velcro.
Bring your own pen.

08/26/08 replaced and moved a dozen feet down the way to protect it from assaults from trolls and muggles. No longer magnetic or attached with velcro.
After the cache you're still invited to check out Papa SMURRF.

Congrats to Cache Heads for the FTF !
