Geocache Description:

Cache is a Lock & Lock type container, Boots a must

Be aware that this can be a challenging walk weather dependant.

Please leave a copy of your route with someone.

Ben Vrackie, or "Speckled Mountain" lies due north of Pitlochry and can be seen in many views from the Pitlochry or from Blair Atholl to the north west.

At 2759ft in height, Ben Vrackie is a Corbett.

There a good track (like the stairway to heaven)to the top, there is a Trig point here and a viewpoint indicator.

Ben Vrackie's summit offers, on a good day, one of the best viewpoints in the southern highlands. North lies the mass of Beinn a'Ghlo with Glen Tilt and the vast wilderness of the Cairngorms beyond.
