Geocache Description:

Have you ever wondered why anyone would want to live along this dirty,noisy stretch of the A259?
Wait until you see the rear of their properties and you will understand the attraction!

This is a simple 2 part multi at Widewater Lagoon in Lancing. The above coordinates are for a micro which has the coordinates for the actual cache inside.
Stealth will be required at both stages due to the number of people who come here to enjoy the scenery.

Over the years we have driven along this stretch of road hundreds of times without realising this lovely nature reserve was here. We couldn't understand anyone wanting to live in a house so close to the traffic until we went exploring recently and couldn't believe what we had been missing all this time! Oh to have a spot like this at the end of the garden!
If you didn't know the lagoon was here we hope you too are pleasantly surprised! We have set this cache the way we have to encourage people to take in the whole area rather than just caching and dashing.

Parking: You can either park on the A259 as near to the Brighton Road shops as possible and enter the nature reserve via the steps at the traffic lights or park in the car park at N50 49 513 W000 17 605 which is accessible from Shoreham Beach.
Those wanting a longer walk could park at Lancing Green and take the path along the beach.

Please note that children must be supervised at all times because of the water. Dogs are welcome but please make sure you are a responsible owner.
