Under Parallel Sticks Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Kiersolvd: After 9+ years of dutiful service, it's time to retire this cache. The parallel sticks that this cache was honoring have deteriorated and are not like they were ten years ago when I first saw them. See Willie and Wilma's log for a picture. Thanks to all who stopped by to look and to Ms. Marvelous for finding the cache container 1/2 mile away and stashingd it out of the way for me to pick up.

Geocache Description:

Along the Nook Trail is a series of parallel sticks in an unusual place. How did they get this way?  Are they natural or man made?

When I saw them on a hike up Tiger Mountain with a group of caching buddies, we thought there should be a cache here.  Well, now there is.  It's a small lock-n-lock.

Hike up the Nook trail just past a footbridge.  Look to your right.  On the left is the remains of a massive stump.  Have fun!  Cheers!
