This is an easy walk along the river Gipping finding first a micro cache leading to the main cache site.
Hazel Hunt is about a 3 mile round trip along the River Gipping and can also incorporate the "Hazel Wood" hence the cache name, either to or from the main cache site, your first co-ordinates are for the "free car park", it can be muddy after the rain and can be busy with people fishing but is generally a pleasant walk. The nicest way to do the cache is to follow the path straight from the car park and go through the Hazel Wood when you get to it, then on your return you can use the path closer to the river for a change of scenery. There are toilets in the carpark and refreshments can be had in the very convivial Bramford Cock which does some great meals Monday to Saturday and now recently has started doing Sunday lunches, there is also a Co-op in the village just a short walk away. These co-ordinates are for the micro, please try to conceal it well after finding, this will give you the co-ordinates for the main cache. This is a small tub in a green bag.
