In the so called “Old-Bakony” (High-Bakony) you can find the highest peaks of the Bakony like the Koris-hegy (709 m) or the Kék-hegy (661 m). In the heart of the the Old-Bakony lies a village called Bakonybél which with its stillnes hit our fancy. It is an ideal place for rest, far away from the „noise of the world”...
As starting pont for our short trip to the „tönkölösi Likas-ko” (Likas-ko = stone with hole) I suggest the following: Driving on the main road in the village from South to the North follow the yellow marks, that means: you have to turn to the right in the North side of the village (Cseralja utca) Here look for the blue omega (Ω) (blue cave) marks. Park here and follow the marks. A loany road leads up the hill – on rainy days it can be slippery, so pay attention! – you only have to follow the blue omega marks. It leads directly to our destination, to the ’tönkölösi Likas-ko’ which is a 4 meters wide, 2,5 meters high and less than 6 meters long cave.
The cache itself is hidden above the cave (North from it). Please don’t climb up at the cave, but go back the blue omega a few meters and then try it. The cache’s size is: 14x14x4 cm, it is a plastic kitchen box. The hiding place: Stone with triangle shape.
After finding this cache we recommend to look for the near Odvas-ko, where another cache can be found...
