Along a public road and camouflaged. Look for a “tail” or “stem” to ease the retrieval.
Some might call this a Park ‘n’ Grab but you have to get out of your vehicle to grab it. The cache is along a public road in Carrollton. It is not on the ground and height may work to your advantage. BYOP as it is too small for a pencil. Be sure to replace the log in the plastic bag as it makes it easier for the net Geocacher to pull it out of the match holder.
I wanted to call the cache “Dickerson to Blanton or Blanton to Dickerson” which would depend on which way you approach the cache. Tommy decided that name would be too long and confusing. He suggested the current name. Most everyone is familiar with Grackles and this spot is among their favorite nesting areas. Under some conditions, they darken the sky and drown out all other sounds. They are not a particularly attractive bird.
