This cache is located in Cliffside Park. There is ample parking available at N42°49.129' W087°49.096'. It's roughly a ¾ mile walk through relatively even terrain, the trails are groomed and it's kid friendly.
This is our first attempt at placing a cache so it's for the most part relatively simple. There might be some minimal bushwacking required right at the end, but otherwise it's just a walk in the park. The cache itself is an ammo box full of various items of no specific nature, so please feel free to take our cheap stuff and replace it with expensive stuff in return. This being our first cache we would appreciate your feedback either pro or con, so have a nice hike and let us know what you think. And in answer to several questions about the recent alterations to the park, conversation with one of the county workers that were assigned to the project revealed the reason to be an intention to create a "prairie-like" enviornment that would attract a wider variety of animals to establish their homes there. If further inquiry reveals another purpose we'll report it here.
