TIME: Gather at 11am (cst) and eat at 12noon (cst)
Where: Little River Falls is on Lookout Mountain just off
Hwy. 35 near Fort Payne, Alabama.
Little River flows for most of its length atop Lookout Mountain
in northeast Alabama. The river and canyon systems are spectacular
Appalachian Plateau landscapes any season of the year. Forested
uplands, waterfalls, canyon rims and bluffs, stream riffles and
pools, boulders, and sandstone cliffs offer settings for a variety
of recreational activities. Natural resources and cultural heritage
come together to tell the story of the Preserve, a special place in
the Southern Appalachians.
Bring lots of film, you will want to capture the beauty of this
area forever.
MENU: All geocachers, Friends, Family, and fun seekers
come on over for a meal of "Brunswick Stew" cooked overnight in
north Georgia. Bring your own homemade Brunswick Stew or a side
dish and your own water or soft drink. Please RSVP with your
contribution and the number of people in your party. We will eat
lunch at noon(CST) 1pm(EST). After lunch you can sit and have some
fellowship with old friends and new friends alike, before parting
to enjoy the sites in this wonderful area.

Some of the Wanna Crew will be driving a long distance, and will be
camping out Wednesday night after the event at the near-by
Desoto
State Park campground We have Reservations in "group one"
group camping area for up to twenty people. It has one water
outlet, fire ring and outdoor privy. We will have access to the
showers. The cost is three dollars per person. We will past the
hat to paid after we get there.
The reservations are in the name of "The Wanna Go Hiking Club"
Post in your will attend log if you can bring anything for the
Picnic lunch.
