Signal Point Sweetheart's Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within the requested time period, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current geocaching.com guidelines. Please don’t post a note on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

Park at the end of Coleman street. (Coleman is located just off Broadway just past Mcdonalds.)IMPORTANT NOTE: Take the Mountain bike Trail Called Iron Pin above the power lines. The trail under the power lines is on private property. The trail is steep in some places and there are falling rocks. This one is not recomended for really small children. Although my seven year old did just fine. It's a 20-25 minute walk one way.

The Container is medium Rubbermaid container.(replaced March 31/2012) The original ammo box was muggled and had to be replace Feb 2010 and the second container was also muggled and had to be replaced so be carefull to tuck it back in really good. I moved the hiding location so this is open to a first to find in the new location. I have also added an additional micro hide very close to the rubbermaid container. there are no co-ordinates for this hide just a note of where to look in the rubbermaid container.
All along the Bike Trail we have put up Inukshuks (piles of rocks)to mark the trail. Feel free to put up your own Inukshuk to help keep the trail marked and leave a little memory of your own. The bike trail is covered with trees so the GPS will be off for the first 3/4 of the trip. Just stay on the Bike Trail. Here are 2 way points along the trail:
#1 52 07.606N & 122 06.817W
#2 52 07.572N & 122 06.290W
I have decided to forgo the theme for the container but it is still a great hike to make with a loved one. Some folks hike up here on Easter morning just before Sunrise so that they can be up there to see the sun rise and reflect on the spiritual meaning of Easter. It is a perfect spot for this.
When placed it contained:
First finder's prize $5.00
Twoonie, Valentine Pencils,
Glass Hearts and valentine erasers
thermometer, Crystal I love you
Red Stapler, Love Key Chain, Love Stickers
Jelly heart stickers
20 inch blow up lips
