Geocache Description:

A well camouflaged Rubbermaid container hidden in Bluemont Disc Golf Course, an area where poking through the bushes and woods is commonplace and probably won't raise an eyebrow. Many who see you hunting for what you've lost may wonder how you could have thrown so far off course--just tell them you're a beginner.

Although the cache is located safely 'out of bounds' from the disc golf course, watch out for errant throws and please don't get in the way of people playing through or teeing off. To avoid getting whacked by a disc, walk across the basketball court to the concrete tee pad next to the creek (see upper right corner of map). There is a small trail leading to the cache from the concrete tee, but some bushwhacking is required to get to the hiding place. We'll have to see what this area is like in summer!

I have included a loaner disc in case you want to give disc golf a try. Please return the disc to the cache after use. The closest parking lot is located off of N. Manchester St. (Arlington Blvd. side). See the posted coordinates below.

This cache is one of several placed by local cachers prior to NoVAGO's Frozen meet and greet! (GCT016) pre-event cache walk on February 19, 2006. Special thanks to Donbert for his help with the coordinates (it is tough to get a good signal back there).
