Geocache Description:

Whats a Draw? One of the 3 minor terrain features in my book, and a steep one this is(mini-valley). The other 2 minor terrain features are a Spur(mini-ridge) and a Cliff. In case you want to know, the 5 major terrain features are: Hilltop, Ridge, Valley, Saddle and Depression. I could not locate any depressions around here, but all others, major and minor, abound. Ref. FM 21-26

Cache is located in Lee Memorial Park. Public park run by the city of Petersburg. Park near the gate by the ball field.(Cooper Field off Defense Rd.,[11.859/24.465] NOT the field on Johnson Rd.!) 1/4 mile walk one way on flat trail. Less well defined trail skirts this side of the lake, but some parts are so steep, if you slipped, you would roll down into the drink. 50 cal. size can. Logbook is the spider notebook I took from Frog_Princes' "Aggravation at Morris Creek" cache last October. Please re-position cache so it may not slip from it's hiding place.
Initial items in cache:
The Essential Lewis and Clark
Janes' Chem-Bio Handbook
WV magnet and Key ring
Medal of Honor-Allied Assault PC game
Corsair memory chip-PC100-unused
1964 quarter
IR lens for a G.I. Anglehead flashlight
Alternate place to park is locked gate on Johnson Rd. at 11.493/24.062, if you want to approach the cache from the South. Longer walk on same trail, or you could cut straight thru the woods to the southern tip of Wilcox Lake from there. I have not tested this route.
