Route to cache can be slippery with mud, ice and loose rocks. Parking across from trailhead. Due to powerline work I upped the terrain rating.
The dam has been removed by some (state?) yoyos!! They took what used to be a highlight of this area and make it boring!! This dam was destroyed during the flood of 1955 by the old bridge that was upstream. Cache container is a small round lock and lock. Across the road from the cache are trails you can take down to near where the dam was. Watch the little ones, drop offs and fast moving currents.
