Devon's first ever CITO
event will focus on clearing the Woodbury Common car parks and
their surrounding areas of litter and rubbish. Rubber gloves
will be supplied to those who need them (it would help if you
brought your own though)and black plastic bags will be
supplied.
The event will start at the published co-ordinates at 10am where
you will get a chance to meet fellow Geocachers and have a quick
chat. After that, everyone will head off in smaller groups to the
other Common car parks. Co-ordinates and a map will be provided so
you know where to go. You will have a chance to get to know the
cachers that you end up with while you tidy up the area.
At approx 12.15-12.30 we will all meet up back at the original
carpark where a few of the local cachers will take all of your full
rubbish bags to the local amenities site.
We then all head off to the Otter Inn at Colaton Raleigh for
lunch and to socialise for a while, before heading off to complete
the day with some new caches on the Common which will have been
placed especially to coincide with the Event. These will be made
live on Geocaching.com after the CITO event.
Also can you please state on your logs if you want to eat at
the Otter inn as i will have to give them details on numbers nearer
the time.
