This is the re-birth of another cache.
Down below the Cajon Pass I had a cache called "Leaner." One day Mr. Bulldozer drove through and destroyed every bush, tree, and ant hill for hundreds of feet. Leaner had been hiding in one of those bushes. I went out searching for the remains to give him a proper burial, but was amazed to find that he had survived the attack of the bulldozer. Bruised, battered, and shoved about 100 yards from where he started, the little PVC pipe cache had survived.
I rescued him, took some photos, gave him a pot of coffee to perk him up, and sent him back out into the wilds to fend for himself. The cache still holds all the things he had in the first place, including the original logbook. If you found him before, this is a new find, so sign the book again.
