We had purchased a GPS with mapping capabilities to help us in our
travels while doing genealogy research. Shortly thereafter an
article concerning geocaching appeared in the local paper. We
checked out geocaching.com and headed to our first cache.
The cache had been hidden by the Federation, which certainly
sounded ominous. Little did we know about the addictive nature of
the adventure on which we were about to embark. We cannot, or
don’t want to, remember how long it took us to locate the
cache. Suffice it to say, it was not a “quick grab and
go”. We did, however, find it on our first attempt.
You are seeking a small (about 3” long) black plastic
container that is (need we say) camouflaged. It only contains a
log, so please be sure to bring your own writing implement.
