Geocache Description:

Headend Quarry, near Ierby, Cumbria.

This is a replacement to my Solway View cache GC2248, which I had to archive.

Once at the disused quarry, head to the top end. Keep hold of 'ickle ones hands, as there are a short steep drops on the right hand way up, and even longer steep drops if you go up the left side! The left side is occasionally used by climbers, practicing for bigger rock faces!

Use the gate, or the steps over the fence.....watch the steep drop.....and you're on yer own!

Please replace cache upright.....ta!

The views are fantastic on clear days...360 degrees! Shame I had to do a bit of CITO where I parked the van, which was on the area next to the bad bend.

Hope the views are good when you are up here.
