The Columbus Museum is the second-largest art museum in the state, has a fine history gallery of the region, and now has its very own geocache!
Admission is FREE!

You’ll need to get two pieces of information in order to find the cache. One is inside, so you’ll have to visit during the hours the museum is open, but admission is free. Don’t just grab the info and run, however. Take the time to look around and enjoy, and be sure to catch the short film in the theatre. The museum is well worth your time.

First, find the bronze statue named “Hermit.” Amazing how it looks like driftwood, huh? Take last two digits of the artist’s birth year and subtract 4. This will be WX.

Then, look for the Dale Chihuly sculpture titled "Boat Installation". Chihuly was known for his glass sculptures, however he did not begin making the glass boats until what year? Do read the whole story, as it is a great story regarding the origins of this sculpture. Take the last two digits of the year and subtract 12. This will be YZ.
