A quick and simple cache that is accessible form the Washington / Birtley service station between junctions 65 and 64 of the A1(M). The cache is normally a small plastic box that can hold small travel bugs and geocoins, but is a small film pot at the moment.
From the southbound car-park you will find a path to the left of the billboards behind the hotel, or a new path directly across from the new sharging station. If you are heading north then enter the service station and cross the footbridge. Please note that a small stretch of the path can be muddy when it rains. The cache can also be accessed from local roads, just follow the footpath to the public footbridge over the motorway.
