4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

During the gold rush of the 1850's, the Victorian government became greedy and started changing immigrants a landing tax of 10 pounds. Due to this, the Chinese people started landing in South Australia. One of the main places these men landed was in nearby town of Robe. They then started their journey to the far off gold fields by foot. Some 16500 people landed here.

The location of this cache is at a well that was dug by the Chinese people for their long journey. A now very shallow well but maybe a place you would not have stopped at other wise.
The cache is a clip top rectangular box. It contains a log book and pen as well as an arrangement of small toys.
As always, please place back where you found it and make sure it is concealed.
