Always gently uphill, but along a broad track.Not suitable for toddlers, but older children should manage the walk.
It is possible to find the cache following the red route, but this is a steeper approach.
Suitable hill-walking footwear recommended.
The cache is named after one of the many routes up Moel Fammau from the car park at N53 08 422 W003 14 486.
Follow the blue route for about half a mile. The cache is located off the main track to try to avoid the many muggles who walk up Moel Fammau, particularly at weekends. When the cache is about 50 metres away leave the main track at a junction with the yellow route. There should be a tall hedge of ferns on your left, particularly in the summer.
The cache is in a container suitable only for small swaps.
Please make sure the cache is properly closed and inside protective covers and PLEASE DON'T LEAVE PERISHABLES IN THE BOX.
The blue route is the easiest up the mountain - a pleasant walk with great views on a good day.
