A fairly quick
cache on a road few locals know about. Bring your fishing
gear for a relaxing time.
On same side of the road
as the outfall channel for Lake Elsinore, popular with a few local
fishermen.
On the other side of the road is a bird sanctuary/wetland area
that gets a lot of migratory bird visits in season, and always has
a few birds in evidence.
No bushwhacking required. The cache is
about 6 feet from the edge of Baker Rd.
Ammo can painted in camo pattern. Designed to blend in shadows and
be inconspicuous, although almost in plain view.
The turn is not visible from
far away! Be very careful turning.
Be careful trusting online maps--they were drawn before the
wetland was excavated!
If you come here near sundown in warm weather, be sure to wear a
good mosquito repellant!
Please, be sure to hide it as well as you
found it.
