This cache is located within a nature reserve. Not too difficult to find but can be a little muddy for half of the way in the winter.
Due to the location of this cache we thought it would be good to place a cache for WOODEN ITEMS AND TRAVEL BUGS ONLY. Orchard nature reserve was once allotments that has been left for nature to take over. It is worth a walk round to see the result. You can park (and the route starts) at N52 39.086 W001 09.579 but the vehicle access gate closes at 17:00 so you will need to park at the bottom of the track and walk up the track to city farm after this time. Follow the MARKED footpath that goes round the boundary of Gorse Hill City Farm. Then enter Orchard Nature Reserve by the first gate. We have left more than a dozen wooden items in the cache. REMEMBER, please leave wooden (or at a push, items made from natural materials)only. Any travel bugs are welcomed. Take time to look round GORSE HILL CITY FARM before finding the cache. Entrance fee is a donation of a couple of quid. They need your support to continue their good work, and also if you feel like a cuppa why not visit the Cafe.
