Parking is a little trickier here during the daytime. There is
plenty, however, about three blocks south. After about 4:00 p.m.
there is abundant parking space. Log only micro. Bring your own
pen.
Observing the months of mosaic activity at the clinic and hospital
spurred interest by the local citizenry to get directly involved in
the fun. Burl Cole offered a continuing ed class through which
another large mosaic project on the Science building was
constructed over an eight week period. It was designed by Ford
Ruthling. Across the way is the newest mosaic, designed and
assembled by Bette and John Hope. They are both artists who had
worked with Mr. Cole. This was their first solo effort and is a
beautiful one. A sunset view is particularly striking, and that is
also the subject of the mosaic.
