Geocache Description:

Follow Ward Rd to the Wheatfield/NT line and park here. Walk east along the powerlines for approximately .4 miles till you come to a Wheatfield Park. When you turn into the park area, you will discover that there are trails thru the woods. (No need to follow those trails for this cache!)

The Town of Wheatfield owns the park that the cache is in. They built the platform about 3 years ago (for bird watchers?). We're not sure who is tearing the platform apart. The nearby water is a private lake called Willow Lake.

The cache is findable in the winter as long as it is returned to its proper hiding place.

The initial contents are a logbook (of course), a travel bug, a small photo frame, a pretty pencil (unsharpened one is for taking), and a couple of other small trinkets. (This is our first cache. We're saving the big bucks for a later cache! LOL)

We strongly recommend wearing waterproof boots as it is very wet back there!

Please note: The only public access to this park is along the powerlines.
