the cache is near an establishment where my people are starting to make some progress. the u.s. government has broken more than 400 treaties with us over the last 200 years. let us hope that the agreement to allow gaming on tribal lands remains in effect. take a look at the nearby building and you will see that we have created a prosperous enterprise here....

i wandered down from the hills above oroville in august of 1911 and was found starving in a rancher's corral. sheriff webber put me in jail for my own protection. anthropologist kroeber arranged for me to stay at the university of california's anthropology museum in san francisco where i lived for the next five years, before dying of tuberculosis. i never told anyone my true name, but people started calling me by the yahi word for man. i was often referred to as "the last wild indian." who am i?
