Stone Ruins Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Duke V: You remember phone booths, don't you? Well, in ancient times they were places where you could actually make phone calls for a quarter (or more) and provided a great place to locate magnetic geocaches. The one that was here is gone and so is the geocache.

Geocache Description:

Axton, VA

While traveling on RT. 58 between Martinsville and Danville unless you're observant you'll miss the stone ruins of an old house standing only a short distance from the road. In summer because of all the vines covering the walls the place almost disappears into the landscape. Stop and take a break, find this little cache and imagine what this old house must have looked like in its day.

You DO NOT have to approach the ruins or trespass on the property to log this cache.
