The theme of this series is “So near and yet so far”.
The first two parts are about a mile apart and in clear view of each other, however you will do well to solve them both in the same day.
Right here we go :
Solent 1 is itself in two parts:
Firstly, you need to answer a question:
How deep in metres is the channel between N° 50 42.419 W° 01 31.311 and the location of Solent 2?
The answer is Part A needed to solve Solent 3.
NB You need to visit the co-ordinates stated to find the correct answer for A, the 50M stated on one of the info boards is not the answer you need!
If you head for these co-ordinates you will find the means to answer the question as well as somewhere free to park while you walk to the cache site.
Secondly, you have to visit the co-ordinates at the top of the page to find the micro cache and retrieve the number from inside the lid of the 35mm film canister.
The answer is Part B needed to solve Solent 3.
If you can’t find the cache try decrypting the usual clue, if you still can’t find it then there is a special question with its own decryption code that you can answer at the cache site. This will also give you the necessary number.
