Geocache Description:

Out on Tiger Mountain I stumbled across a piece of old bark from a tree that had some strange symbols on it. The bark is in remarkably good condition. I know foresters and loggers will sometimes cache equipment or other things at a site where they will be working for an extended time and that is when I figured it may have been left by one of the loggers that worked the slopes.

Head to the posted coords and look for the strange writing on the uphill side of a Douglas-fir, I left the bark lying at the base of the tree. I think you'll understand the symbols. The writing provides the coordinates to an old logger's cache. Of course I updated the contents with some modern things and threw out the chewing tobacco, files, boot grease and toilet paper.
